CPM Partners McCarthy and Berger Honored with 2012 California Lawyer of the Year (CLAY) Award

Niall McCarthy and Justin Berger received the 2012 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (False Claims) Award from California Lawyer magazine. McCarthy and Berger were honored with the CLAY Award under the category of False Claims for securing the largest False Claims Act recovery in California history: over $300 million in settlements, including a $241 million settlement from the largest provider of medical laboratory testing for the state’s Medi-Cal program. California Lawyer in 2012 recognized attorneys in 20 areas of legal practice for 26 accomplishments that made a significant impact in 2011.
