In Elder Abuse Case Against Nursing Facility, CPM Seeks Justice for War Veteran

CPM represents George W. Willis, an 88 year old veteran of the Korean War, in an elder abuse case against Culver West, a skilled nursing facility (“SNF”) in Los Angeles. As alleged in the complaint, while at Culver West, Willis suffered from terrible neglect and abuse. He developed a pressure ulcer which extended to his bone (his bone can be seen through the wound), as well as a neck abscess, among other conditions. The case was filed under California’s Elder Abuse Act which protects our State’s seniors from physical abuse and neglect, as well as financial abuse.
