A press conference was held after Cotchett, Pitre and McCarthy LLP filed claims on behalf of the Steinle family and against the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the Bureau of Land Management for the wrongful acts and omissions that led to the fatal shooting of Kate Steinle on Pier 14 of the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
