Update: City of Richmond (CPM Client) v. Trump; limiting the scope of prior executive order threatening to defund sanctuary jurisdictions

In response to lawsuits filed by City of Richmond (represented by Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy) and other local jurisdictions, Attorney General Jeff Sessions issued the following memorandum that substantially limits the scope of President Trump’s Executive Order No. 13768 , which threatened to defund sanctuary jurisdictions.  The full text of the memo can be found here.
